Student life is an integral part of the university experience. At Miami International University of Art & Design, you will have the opportunity to develop friendships that last a lifetime. On campus, you will encounter students, faculty, and staff in the classrooms, in addition to administrative staff each day. You can also choose to reside in our student-sponsored housing and participate in leisure activities and campus-organized events. During the year, the Office of Student Affairs sponsors a variety of events including intramural sports, dances, parties, special meals, “lunch and learn” sessions, and off-campus trips. Making friends and finding shared interests with a wide variety of people are some of the life-long benefits of your university experience. Student Affairs plays a critical leadership role in offering quality services and learning opportunities that helps students, who actively participate, achieve their educational and career goals.

Some students arrive with previous experience in their program fields, others arrive with only their desire to learn. Students come to Miami International University of Art & Design from private schools, public schools, and home schooling environments. Many choose the convenience of living at the University in school-sponsored housing, while others reside in the surrounding community.
