Internatinal Student Advising Center (ISAC)
The primary function of the International Student Advising Center (ISAC) is to provide resources
and assist international students with all issues pertinent to their transition to the United States.
The International Student Advisor (ISA) also serves as the designated school official for the Department
of Homeland Security, as well as assists the University in relation to
immigration rules and regulations for F-1 international students.
Additionally, the Office provides the following services:
- International student orientation program
- Advisement on visa, passport, and immigration issues, rules and regulations
- Employment and graduation seminars for F-1 students
- Monitors the enrollment and progress of international students at the University who have not demonstrated proof of English language proficiency
- Information on US government issues such as driver's licenses, Social Security, TIN numbers, and income taxes
- Activities and cultural events for international and domestic students
